• City/Town/Village - Then select the City/Town/Village you’re interested in, however if we do not have property listed in the location you want, it won’t show. We are WIKI powered by real people who list property reducing the time it takes to search empty locations.  If the desired City/Town/Village is not shown in the drop down menu, then no properties are listed there.

We default your search to the country’s currency you are searching from, however we adopt USD if we don’t recognize your IP. To find all property regardless of price, please leave the fields at the default setting.
• Search – You can search now or refine further using ‘Advanced Search’...
• Advanced Search - If you’re looking for very specific things try using the advanced search feature to narrow your search, please click the link just below the price to reveal the following: 
  • Auction Property - By selecting the 'Auction' radio button at the top of Quicksearch you will be able to find auction properties only using the normal drop downs explained above. Then use the advanced search option also to search by start date and end date. The price you select in Quicksearch will find properties 'starting from' that price to that of the maximum only.   • For Rent - By selecting the 'For Rent' radio button at the top of Quicksearch you will be able to find rental/lease properties only using the normal drop downs explained above. Then use the advanced search option also to filter furnished from unfurnished properties. The price you select in Quicksearch will find properties at that weekly rental price bracket. Back to top 
  • Off Plan - By selecting the 'Off Plan' radio button at the top of Quicksearch you will be able to find off plan properties only using the normal drop downs explained above. Selecting the discounted off plan radio button too will find discounted deals! The advanced search can also be used to make your search more relevant, simply select the keywords in the 'property features' window and the best matches will appear at the top of your results. The price you select in Quicksearch will find off plan properties at the unit's total price. To help you find deals we've added various options to filter/sort your off plan property search results. After searching for off plan, please use the 'sort by' feature on the top of results, you'll see a variety of cool options to help you find deals! More information... 
  • No. Bathrooms - Select the number of bathrooms and find properties to match your bathroom requirement.
  • Swimming Pool - If you're looking for a property with a pool then use this option. 
  • Garden - Find properties that have a private garden or just a yard!
  • Garage & Parking - Everyone needs one of these, but you can be choosy using this feature...
  • New or Resale - Filter second-hand homes out of your results or select 'resale' to see them.
  • Freehold or Leasehold - Simply use this to find one or the other type of property, select both to find them all.
  • Open Houses - If someone lists a property and wants to stage an organised mass viewing they'll make it findable, so use this if you'd like to find homes that have open houses.
  • Property Features - By selecting keywords from this box you're asking the search to find 'best matches' for your property search. Result pages will display properties showing the best matched first and those matching your selected property feature's 'keywords' less later. To add keywords; select one; click the 'add' button and search. To add more than one, simply repeat. To delete a keyword, please click the 'x' alongside the offending keyword.
  • Search – Click the search button; properties matching your search will be displayed on the same page as the Quicksearch, click here for more info about result pages...

Search Results 

Properties matching your search are displayed on the same page as the Quicksearch. There are many features to learn about and use, however some require you to be registered and signed in to use, here's a list:

* Tools & features marked with an asterisk require you to be registered and signed in to be used! Register...

• Google Map - Each property displayed on the page will be marked on the Google map at the top with a red pin-point. Click one to open a dialogue box for an overview of the property and options to view more details, contact the owner and add the property to your 'shortlist'. You must be logged in as a buyer to add the property your 'shortlist' or 'Contact Owner' of a property for sale, likewise you must log in as a tenant for rental properties.  
• Education - This feature is 'owner powered'! Property owners recommend places of education as they list their property and they're displayed on the Google map for you... Locations for education are a shown as a blue pin-point. Only schools listed by owners of property in the current results page are shown, but to reveal them you'll need to click the blue 'Education' tick box below the map. Errors can sometimes be seen due to owners entering address details incorrectly on their property listing. If you are listing a property, please include as much information as possible.
• Health - Same as education, but displayed as a 'green' pin-point!
• Leisure - Same as education, but displayed as a 'black' pin-point!
• Want to get paid $0.00 USD for every property YOU list for sale, join us
• Show/Hide map - Click the button underneath the Google map to hide it... repeat to show it again.
• Results per page - You can choose the number of properties shown in each results page. Do you like short or long pages?
• Sort by 'Best Match' - You can alter the way search results are displayed by using this feature at the top of page after searching to re-sort them. Default results are set to 'Best Match', the other options are:
  • Price: High to Low – Displays the properties in descending price order.
  • Price: Low to High - Displays the properties in ascending price order.
  • A-Z Street name – Displays properties sorted by street name in alphabetical order.
  • Z-A Street name - Displays properties sorted by street name in reverse alphabetical order.
  • Nearest School - Displays properties closest to a school at the top of the results page. This feature is owner powered'! Property owners recommend places of education as they list their property and the distance from their property to assist users understand property location benefits.
  • Off Plan Only ‘Discounted Off Plan’ - Use this to sort your results showing the most relevant properties first. Property owners decide if the property is discounted or not and we do not check their claim. Back up to Off Plan | About Off Plan Full Property Details

The recommendations are to be used as a guide/research for people moving to the property owner’s property or area. If you are listing property, please go mad with the information... Spend an extra 15 minutes listing your property and sell it faster. Buyers love to know about the area they're moving to!
• Save this Search - You don't need to be registered to use this feature to save the criteria you set to conduct the property search. You can create email alerts for properties matching your search criteria, in order to do this you must be logged in to your member’s area. All saved searches can be accessed via My Property Tools.
• * Get Email Alerts for this Search - Don’t miss a thing! If you've decided the location you want to live, have a price range and know the type of property required then use this feature to get email alerts for future listings that match your search criteria. Click the button at the top of the results page to be alerted when new properties are added matching your criteria! You need to register and be signed in to do this.
• * Get answers for this area! - Ask a question to our property community about the location you are searching for and get alerts when someone answers it! Similarly; publish a property related blog; make comments and answer other people's questions, you'll be alerted when you get responses! You need to register and be signed in to do this.
• New Search - Use this button to clear your previous search options from Quicksearch.
• Ask & Voices - At the bottom of every results page you'll find questions, answers, blogs and comments about the location you are searching. Browse them to find out more information or ask a question to our community of experts, locals and pros! • Email a Friend - Want to get your partner's opinion or you know someone who's searching for a similar property. This feature shares your findings by sending them an email containing a link to the property that's caught your interest.
• * Get Alerts for this Property - Located your ideal property, but still looking at the market? Make sure you are kept up-to-date. Click the 'Get Alerts for this Property' link in any property description to get alerts when the property price or status changes! You need to be signed in and registered to do this.
• Report Listing - If you notice anything wrong with a listing you can report it to us using this feature. We rely on you to report listings that are abusive, faulty, showing errors, incorrect, displaying faulty photos or inappropriate. Please include a detailed description of your findings to enable admin to rectify the matter accordingly. 
• I Earn $0.00 USD to add property like this... 'link in results' - When affiliates join us they register areas (create their sales territory) in order to list property from. Areas are registered to affiliates and each affiliate is licensed to operate in their sales territory, however, areas are not exclusive, meaning; more than one affiliate can be operative in an area. When this is the case the 1st affiliate who orders/registers holds the highest licence and gets paid a licence override for every property the 2nd affiliate lists on so on! From the property descriptions page, registered buyers and tenants can contact the owner by clicking the 'Contact Owner' link under 'My Property Tools' of 'Quicksearch', above the property's image, at the top of the page, or at the bottom of the 'Neighbourhood & Community Details' column.

Neighbourhood & Community - The beauty of PropertyWikia is that it gives owners a chance to express themselves while listing their property. They get an opportunity to list their property using their expert knowledge of its features, location, pro's & con's and local surrounding area. Owners can tell you about their 'Neighbourhood & Community' (soon to be yours perhaps!):

* Mandatory information the owner must list are marked with an asterisk. All information contained in the 'Neighbourhood & Community' has been listed by the owner, not checked and should be verified by the buyer/tenant before viewing.

• Bills & Taxes - This will show the owner's estimates to run the property for electricity, water and maybe more depending on how much information they have listed... It is mandatory to list both Electricity & water bills, however, owners could list many other main home running costs to include, for example:
  • * Electricity
  • * Water
  • Gas
  • Local Taxes/Council Tax
  • Service Fees
  • Ground rent (if applicable)
  • Garbage/Rubbish Collection
  • Home Insurance
• Local Education - This will show you the closest school as recommended by the property owner together with contact details. The owner must list one school, but can also list:
  • Nursery/Day care
  • * Closest School
  • College
  • University
  • Library
  • Private school
• Local Ethnicity - this section could be populated with information about the property's local community described in 'percentage of' to give you a vision of which nationality/ethnicity dominates the area. Check it out, the owner can tell you the percentage of:

  • Indian-Asian
  • White/Caucasian
  • Black/African American
  • Pakistani-Asian
  • Arabic
  • Other Asian
• Sport & Entertainment - In this section the owner can list information and distance to some of the most important establishments to include:

  • Theatres: Cinemas
• Pets - If the owner has a pet then maybe they'll list these recommendations for you to checkout:
  • Vets
  • Parks
• Kids - Most owners will have kids or grandchildren and maybe able to list how far away the closest kid's activity is to include:

  • Zoos
  • Play areas
  • Kids clubs
• Local Health - Every owner will know the location of the local hospital so that's mandatory to list, however they could list more health establishments to include:
  • Doctors
  • Dentist
  • * Hospital
  • Cosmetic surgery
• Community’s Religion - Would you be interested if the owner listed some of the community's main religions? There must one but could be more, for example:
  • Buddhist Community
  • Catholic Community
  • Christian Community

  • Orthodox Community
  • Sikh Community
• Places of Worship - The owner can list the relevant places of worship that exist in the local area to support the community's religion, for example:

• Local Services - It's mandatory for each owner to list the contact details of one; lawyer/solicitor; removals company and surveyor, however they can potentially list a lot more for example, builders, gardeners and cleaners...
• Shopping - Owners may recommend the following places to go shopping and also identify the distance they are from their property:
  • Superstores
  • Local shops
  • Shopping malls
  • DIY superstore
• Telephone Service - Owners may tell you which cable TV and telphone service providers supply their area so you can see if your existing service can be transferred.
• Mobile Coverage - Wouldn't it be nice if you knew your mobile phone will work in the location before you move in!
• Transport & Location - Owners must list the distance from their property to the nearest train station and bus stop, however they just could list more, for example:

  • Underground
  • * Bus stop
  • Tram stop
  • Bicycle route
  • Motorway junction
  • Town/City centre
  • Close to sea
  • Close to river

  • * Crime Level - We ask each owner to select a crime level of their area from; Very high; High; Medium; Low and Minimal. You can find this information by clicking the 'Local Description'.

• Detailed Property Information - This list displays the key data listed by the property owner about their home/property. The content of the list can vary depending on the property type being displayed, for example:
  • Homes for sale with open house date - When homes are listed with 'open house' viewings scheduled you can find them using the advanced search option. The date and time of any open house is also shown on the property's 'property description' page in this section. To monitor an open house property for changes, please use the property alert feature.
  • Auction property - When you find auction property the auction's open and close date is displayed.
  • Off Plan - If you're searching for off plan property deals we provide extra searchable 'key data' to help sort the results. Checkout the 'sort by' drop down on off plan property results pages, you'll find a few interesting options to refine your search! More info... We also display detailed information about the off plan deal on this page to include:
    • Price
    • Construction started? And estimated completion date.
    • Reservation fee amount & if included in price.
    • Whether there's a contract cooling off period or not.
    • Whether the reservation fee is refundable or not.
    • Payment plan/terms.
    • Whether there's a rental guarantee included in price or not.
    • Whether there's extra legal fees or not and how much if so.
    • If there's other fees to pay; how much and what for.
    • Whether an arranged mortgage is available to buyers or not.

• Property Features - When owners list their property they get an opportunity to select keywords to describe it better. All available keywords are purposely listed in the 'property features' box on Quicksearch's 'Advanced Search' feature. Use the keywords to narrow your property search's results. Keywords that the property owner selected when listing their property are displayed in this page's 'Property Features' section.
• Owner's Property Description - This is the description of the owner's property. The owner writes this and it can include as many room descriptions they wish to add on.
• Google Map - The property description's Google map is basically the same as the one on results, but it's focused only on a single property. The establishments listed by the owner (in the 'Neighbourhood & Community' column) are pin-pointed on the page's Google map together with the property's red pin. • Print Property - We'd prefer it if you think before printing, however if you need a basic print then use this button.

My Property Tools

My property tools can be found in the Quicksearch column. Tools are user and status sensitive; being registered and signed in offers more tools and registered buyers can only contact sellers and tenants only landlords.

* Tools & features marked with an asterisk require you to be registered and signed in to be used! Register... 

• Recently Viewed (1) - This feature automatically stores (caches) all the properties you've clicked, viewed and allows you to see them in a pretty list to jog your memory. The property photo or '>>More details' link must be clicked to auto store the property. The number of properties you've recently viewed is displayed for example, (1) and to see them again, simply click the 'Recently Viewed' link in 'My Property Tools'. The functionality of 'My Property Tools' is:
  • Remove this Property - Used to completely delete property from this feature's list.
  • Last Viewed - Displays the date you last viewed the property.
  • * Get Alerts for this Property
  • * Add to My Shortlist
  • * Contact Owner
  • Email a Friend
• Saved Searches (1) - You've just searched and like the results, but don't want to set up the same search every time you look on PropertyWikia! Simple, save your search and what's even better add a 'search alert' too! That will send you automatic alerts whenever a new property matching the search is listed. You can view the saved search and all the properties plus any new ones that have been listed since saving by clicking the 'Saved Searches' link in 'My Property Tools'.
  • Features - Your saved searches are listed in a table. The properties for each 'saved search' can be viewed by clicking the search's spyglass. To delete a saved search simply click the red cross. If you didn't set up a 'search alert' at the time of saving your search, don't worry you can click the red alarm bell to set up the search alert now from 'saved searches'.  
• * Add to My Shortlist - You need to be registered as a buyer or tenant and signed in to see/use this tool listed in your 'My Property Tools'. Tenants can only add rental property to their 'shortlist' and buyers only property for sale. The 'add to my shortlist' link has two modes:
  • My Shortlist - This mode appears when registered, signed in as a buyer/tenant and browsing PropertyWikia's pages up to when you are on a results page and click a property's image/more details link. If you click the link when it's 'My Shortlist' you will be transferred to your shortlist in your member area to view it. However. once you're on a 'property description' page displaying just the one property you're interested in, it will change and show 'Add to My Shortlist' which when clicked will add the property and take you to view your shortlist too.
  • Add to My Shortlist - This mode only shows when you have left the results page after clicking a property's image or the more details link. To add a property to your shortlist you must be registered, signed in with the correct user type account. Buyers can only add property for sale and tenant's rental property. You will notice there's an 'Add to my Shortlist' link on all property description pages also and this works much the same.
  • Features - Your saved searches are listed in a table of your buyer/tenant member's area. No other user has this 'shortlist' feature. The properties for each 'shortlisted' property can be viewed by clicking the record's spyglass. To delete a shortlisted property simply click the red cross. If you didn't set up a 'property alert' before short listing the property don't worry you can click the red alarm bell to set up the property alert now from your 'shortlist'. 
  • Buyer Shortlist - view | Tenant Shortlist - view
• * My Search Alerts - This link appears in 'My Property Tools' for all users, but only when registered and signed in. The link connects you to the search alerts page in your member's area where you can add/view search alerts you've set up. Search alerts are set up when you click any 'Get Email Alerts for this Search' text link or red alarm bell in results pages, click here to find out how to set an alert...  
  • Features - Search alerts you've set up are saved into your 'My Search Alerts' page. You have to be signed in to view search alerts which are listed in your member's area and can be accessed by clicking the 'My Search Alerts' link in 'My Property Tools' or the 'You have new alerts' link in the black menu on your member area's home page. To find out more and get help with your alerts page, please click here and use the 'help link' on the page.
• * My Property Alerts - This link appears in 'My Property Tools' for all users, but only when registered and signed in. The link connects you to the property alerts page in your member's area where you can add/view property alerts you've set up.   • Features - Property alerts you've set up are saved into your 'My Property Alerts' page. You have to be signed in to view property alerts which are listed in your member's area and can be accessed by clicking the 'My Property Alerts' link in 'My Property Tools' or the 'You have new alerts' link in the black menu on your member area's home page. • * My Ask & Voices Alerts - This link appears in 'My Property Tools' for all users, but only when registered and signed in. The link connects you to the Ask & Voices alerts page in your member's area where you can add/view Ask & Voices alerts you've set up. Ask & Voices alerts are set up when you click any alert that mentions Ask & Voices or red alarm bell in the Ask & Voices section of this web site, click here for an example...
  • Features - Ask & Voices alerts you've set up are saved into your 'My Ask & Voices Alerts' page. You have to be signed in to view Ask & Voices alerts which are listed in your member's area and can be accessed by clicking the 'My Property Alerts' link in 'My Property Tools' or the 'You have new alerts' link in the black menu on your member area's home page. • * Contact Owner - The second you find a property you're interested in, please click the contact owner link wherever you see it! It'll only appear if you are signed in as a buyer/tenant. Registered buyers only can contact sellers! Registered tenants only can contact landlords! All other user types have to register as a buyer or tenant. When you click the 'contact owner' button or link the following will happen:
  • The property will be added to your shortlist automatically.
  • You will be auto-transferred to the communication suite (Negotiator) inside your member's area.
  • The property owner will get an alert that someone is interested in their property and to sign in too.
  • Your Negotiator (communication suite) will prompt you to send the owner the first message to the owner in order to introduce yourself and express interest.
  • You send that first message and the owner will get another alert telling them to sign in and answer your message.
  • The negotiation starts only when the owner replies. You probably won't get an immediate response from the owner unless they were already signed in to their member area too. You cannot contact the owner directly yet.
  • Once the owner replies you can then start truly asking questions and begin negotiating. Negotiating using your Negotiator is simple; it's set out in easy steps to complete your purchase or rental.
  • You will get an alert to sign in and collect the owner's message as soon as they send an email or reply to one of your messages.
  • For more information about the negotiator, please sign into your member's area and select the 'Negotiations' link at the top of the home page. The link will be red and flashing if you are negotiating on a property already.
